Domaine Cauhapé

The details make for perfection...but perfection is never just a detail.
Nestled in the heart of Jurançon, between the Pyrenees and the Atlantic, the vineyard covers 40 hectares of slopes, generously exposed South-East.

The vineyard cover 42 hectares of clay dominant terroir. The vines are planted on the steep hillsides.
With a south, south-east exposure and differing altitude between the parcels of vines (the highest 400m) the vines benefit from optimum climatic conditions.
The variety Petit Manseng contributes to the making of great sweet wine and equally to great dry wines.
The Gros Manseng and Courbu bring finesse and fruit.
The Camaralet and Lauzet are ancient varieties that we are reintroducing little by little to give birth to a new generation of dry Jurancon wines.

At Domaine Cauhape, we are constantly listening to nature to better celebrate her generosity.
